Thanking him for sending the article from the [Resto del] Carlino, which was most welcome, saying that he leaves that evening for Berlin, where he will give concerts on the 16th (with the Stabat) and 18th, then returns to Italy, but adding that the Kaiser has asked to see him and that in that case he will give another concert each in Warsaw and Vienna, saying that he has been invited to conduct performances of Don Giovanni in Madrid in connection with the coronation of the king of Spain, discussing the problems that creates with his concert schedule, adding that only the day before he was offered two concerts in Bucharest, that he has been offered two others in Constantinople, expressing admiration for Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 5, mentioning Alessandri, Michelini, Bonino, Campana, Celli, etc., etc.
